Organic Gardening Equipment & Supplies
“Conventional” garden supply centers now have many products that are suitable for organic gardeners, especially these days. And, as I have mentioned throughout this guide, you can always visit my Amazon site for tools and equipment that I use. However, I have found it more difficult to find organic seeds, less common varieties and heirloom varieties.
If you want to you can Google “seed swaps” and you’ll likely find many people worldwide that will exchange seeds with you or even sell you some exotic seeds. Many of these people doing the seed swaps are really nice people and you’ll find them very cooperative. I have had a lot of success and had much joy working with people from all over the world.
Finding great organic seed resources are an ongoing process for me. I’ll be updating my Facebook page with great resources as I find them. In the meantime, your best option is to look online or in seed catalogues for seed suppliers that specialize in organic seeds – that way you’ll know for sure that what you’re buying has been grown, saved and stored organically as they will have organic certification.
